I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
